Mohamed Hafez is the Chief Finance Officer at Hily Holding leading the Finance, Treasury, Human Resources, and information Technology functions.

Mohamed Hafez joined Hily Holding in October 2018 and has over 25 years of diversified finance experience in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and UAE. Before joining Hily Holding, he was the Head of Corporate Governance & internal Audit for Ali & Sons Holding, where he developed a group wide corporate governance & Internal Audit framework for Ali & Sons Group and lead the development of qualified professionals and future leaders. During his time at Ali & Sons Group, Mohamed spent about eleven years working in various finance advisory roles, lead several projects for business valuation, IPO preparation and due diligence involved in several activities and business lines.

Prior to joining Ali & Sons, Mohamed started his career in Egypt in 1995 where he spent 10 years with local audit firms as well as KPMG as an external auditor.

Mohamed holds a Bachelor’ Degree in accounting and Auditing. He also spent 2 years of additional postgraduate studies. In 1999 Mohamed attained the prestigious Chartered Accountancy (CA) from Egypt and in 2004, attained the prestigious Certified Internal Auditor certificate (CIA) from the IIA
